Some venues have noise restrictions, load-in limitations, or their own sound systems. A band that has played weddings before knows how to navigate this. Ask whether they bring their own PA and whether they can scale their volume to match the space.
Communication and Reliability
The band should respond to emails within a day or two. They should arrive on time, set up without disrupting the event, and coordinate with your DJ, MC, or planner. This is not the night for surprises.
