Every band picks up a mascot eventually. Ours is a cat named Riff, and at this point he might be more famous on our website than we are.
Riff started as a little animated cat who peeks over the cards on our home page when you are not looking. People liked him so much that we gave him a whole video game, where he sets out to recover our stolen records from a pack of undead dogs. As you do.
He fits the band better than we planned. River Cats, a cat named Riff, a city built on the water, it all lined up a little too neatly. He is scrappy, he is smooth when he needs to be, and he is weirdly good with a grappling hook.
If you have never met him, he is easy to find. Hang out on the home page for a minute and he will pop up over one of the cards. Give him a click and he will take you straight into his game, best played on a computer.
We are a real band with real shows, we promise, and you can book us for your event. But if a cat with a grappling hook is what finally gets you to our site, we will take it.
