Every summer, the stretch from Gananoque to Brockville fills up with festivals, outdoor stages, and waterfront events. If you are looking for live music in the Thousand Islands area, here is what the season typically looks like.
Gananoque Ribfest
The 1000 Islands Ribfest draws big crowds to Gananoque every June. Multiple stages, food vendors, and a lineup that mixes local bands with regional acts. River Cats have played Ribfest and can confirm: the crowd shows up ready to move.
Joel Stone Park Music Series
This waterfront concert series in Gananoque runs through the summer months. It is a more relaxed setting with the river as a backdrop. Great for families and tourists passing through the Thousand Islands.
Brockville and Prescott Events
Brockville's waterfront hosts regular summer events, from farmers markets with live music to Canada Day celebrations. Prescott runs its own community events through the warm months. Both draw from the Leeds and Grenville County population and summer tourists.
Cottage Country Shows
Private events at cottages, lakeside resorts, and seasonal properties are a big part of summer in this region. These tend to be intimate shows where the band sets up on a deck or a lawn and plays until the sun goes down.
