River Cats are a Kingston-based 4-piece playing funk, rock, country, and pop built for busy dance floors and live rooms that want energy without chaos.

We perform at weddings, corporate events, festivals, private functions, and ticketed venues across Eastern Ontario. Each show is shaped to the room — we adjust set length, pacing, and volume based on the format of the event and the crowd in front of us.

Meet River Cats

Four musicians, one mission: keep the dance floor packed.

Kiri

Lead Vocals

Kiri has enjoyed music from a young age and loves to perform live. Originating from Cuba, she developed her skills as a vocal coach and resort performer, entertaining guests from around the world singing classics from Whitney Houston, Adele, and Celine Dion. Kiri now calls Kingston, Ontario home and brings powerhouse vocals to every stage.

G / Graham

Bass Guitar

G has been a lifelong lover of music. Growing up in Montreal, he polished his skills playing in bands at venues like The Moustache, The Maples Inn, and Club Soda. Influenced by Steve Harris, Geezer Butler, Roger Glover, and Geddy Lee, G brings rock-solid low end across funk, blues, and pop. He also produces and hosts the internationally syndicated radio show Progressive Emporium.

Greg

Drums

Greg brings years of rock-steady experience behind the kit, spanning genres from rock and reggae to blues and southern fried rock. He was a staple in the touring band Rockin Horse and later found his groove again with Stonecold Canada. A founding member of River Cats, Greg anchors the rhythm section with precision and power.

Dave / Recon

Guitar

Dave, known online as Recon or Recontastic, is a Canadian musician raised on a diet of 80s metal and 90s punk. Over the past 8 years, he has emerged as a prominent fixture on Twitch.tv, captivating thousands of fans with his spontaneous jams and infectious passion for all things musical. He brings that same raw energy and versatility to every River Cats show.

Together, these four musicians create an immersive experience that transcends genres. For small to mid-size venues and private events, we provide our own professional PA and in-ear monitoring system. For larger stages with house production, we work directly with the event's audio team and adapt to the provided backline. We arrive early, sound check properly, and keep changeovers efficient. We perform primarily in English and can engage comfortably in French and Spanish.
